Getting Targeted Traffic To Your Website

Lesson #2 - Submit Articles and They Will Come

First, don't start to get all nervous that you need to write articles. It would be great if you felt comfortable writing articles, but I will tell you where you can finds lots of great material you can use to create your very own articles.

Articles are one of the best ways to get targeted traffic to your website. These not only get you free targeted traffic to your website, but you rapidly become indexed by the free search engines.

Search engines love content. They gobble up content like there's no tomorrow. Article website are all content. That's what service they provide. Since they are always getting more content, the search engines constantly spider their websites, indexing all the new goodies they received from people like us. We write the articles and submit them to the Article sites. They publish our articles for the world to see and the search engines index us.

This is HUGE!

You can literally find your article in a Google search within 24 hours of submitting it to many Article websites. I submitted articles for a couple of my websites. One of my websites is www.dxout.com and it's all about DXInOne and the E-Currency Exchange business. I knew absolutely nothing about this business 1 year ago. After learning more about it, I liked it so much, I started this website about 4 months ago. I started getting lots of traffic though my Google AdWords PPC advertising (this is what the last lesson in this series is all about by the way), but this can be very expensive to get a new website enough traffic to get it off the ground. I needed more traffic but I didn't want to keep paying for it.

That's when I found the power of Article Article website directories. If you search right now in Google for "DXOut E-Currency Exchange Program and Free Training" you will see about 20-30 links to my article from many different sources. This article was submitted about 3 weeks ago so it's starting to lose it's effectiveness. The links to this one article when I first submitted it was over 500 sites! I had 500 sites and directories linking to my article. And the trick is, at the very bottom of my article, are URLs to websites I own and promote. This is where the power is. When interested people read your articles, many of them click on your URLs. When they do, you have instant, free, targeted traffic. I already received thousands of unique visitors from this one article alone. Not bad for a free article, huh? :)

I have another article titled "DXOut E-Currency Exchange Program and Free Training" that I also used to double my traffic. I submitted this article a couple days after the one above, so it's starting to lose it's effectiveness as of this writing. When I get a chance, I'll make a few changes, change the titles a little and submit a couple more articles. That's the way you need to play this game. Your competition is doing this an so should you.

Another Article I submitted is called "Free Traffic Exchanges are King" and this was submitted a week ago as of this writing to help promote my TrumpTraffic website. If you were to search right now on Google, this article has over 9,100 links to it! It's only been a week and I already have 1500 more hits to my website through these article directories.

The key to make articles work for you, is to keep submitting them on a weekly basis, or at least a bi-weekly basis. Many smart webmasters submit articles all the time to keep their websites visible. You need to do the same to get results.

I never wrote an article in my life until I had to. You can do it too. It's easy. Just copy and paste section from your website and whip up an article. There are also services like The Lost Files by Russell Brunson that are perfect for getting content for a variety of topics. There are sure to be ones that you can use for your website niche or promotion. The Lost Files are Public Domain documents you can use without you having to worry about stealing someone elses work. These are all works that are NOT protected under US copyright law that you can legally use for publication.

There are many Article Article website directories available to you, but again, some are better than others. I use an Article submission service who submits my articles to hundreds of Article sites.
